
Jabalpur. Under the leadership of District Governor Rtn. Amit Jayaswal, Rotary District 3261 has achieved a historic milestone in July-Aug through several large-scale community service projects. The district’s clubs organized successful campaigns that resulted in:
* 2,500 units of blood donated to the district hospital.
* 51,000 saplings planted as part of a significant environmental effort.
* 25,000 schoolchildren participating in a “SPLASH” painting competition to promote environmental protection and natural beauty through their artwork.

Rotary District 3261 Hosts “Spardha” to Celebrate National Sports Day with School Kids
In a magnificent display of sportsmanship and community spirit, Rotary District 3261 successfully hosted “Spardha,” a grand sports event for school children, on National Sports Day, August 29. The event, held at various venues across the entire Rotary District 3261, saw enthusiastic participation from numerous Rotary clubs, coming together to promote fitness and the spirit of competition among the youth.
The Rotary session began with over 70 clubs in the district holding installation ceremonies for their new leadership teams. The clubs then successfully executed various projects aligned with Rotary’s seven key areas of focus.
This success was made possible by the dedicated efforts of a broad team, including PDG Harjit Hura Chairman District Public image, PDG Rtn Shashank Rastogi (DLF), District Secretaries Rtn. Somnath Agarwal and Rtn. Ajit Khandelwal, Rt. Sushil Ramdas Agrawal, District Management Team members Rtn. Anjul Jain and Rtn. Naveen Bhavsar,Rtn.Kamljeet Chhabra,Rtn.Gourav Jindal, Rtn.MD Parvez Ali, District First Lady Rtn. Pallavi Jayaswal, Chairman media Rtn Nitin Jain, co – Chairman Rtn Pankaj Maheshwari, rtn Sanjay Dubey, Rtn. sunil kayal, Rtn Narendra singh,Rtn. Sanghita Chand, all Assistant Governors (AGs), City Coordinators, and the presidents, secretaries, treasurers of Team AMIT and members of all clubs.
Key initiatives announced during this period include:
* Rotary Club of Bargarh has started efforts to build a new school on a 4-acre plot, replacing its current one-acre facility.
* The district is progressing toward its fundraising goals for The Rotary Foundation, having already collected and deposited $5,000.
* In line with Governor Jayaswal’s theme of “One Activity – One Message,” the District Media Management Team has launched a new campaign across print, electronic, and social media to enhance Rotary’s public image.
* Efforts have begun to beautify and upgrade Rotary Square in various cities to make them more attractive and welcoming.
* Several clubs have also initiated a new program to honor media professionals with a memento in appreciation for their continuous support in promoting Rotary’s public image.
