Jabalpur: The 26th Installation Ceremony of the Rotary Club of Jabalpur Sanskardhani was held in a dignified atmosphere at Hotel Krishna on the previous evening. Rtn. Manish Bajaj assumed office as President, Rtn. Sachin Jain as Secretary, and Rtn. Sunil Jaswani as Treasurer for the Rotary Year 2026–27, formally taking over the responsibilities from Immediate Past President Rtn. Arun Gupta, Immediate Past Secretary Rtn. Abhishek Agrawal, and Immediate Past Treasurer Rtn. Anil Agrawal.
Distinguished Guests Grace the Ceremony
The event was graced by District Governor Nominee (2027–28) Rtn. Bhanu Pratap Choudhary as the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honour included Mr. Rajpal Bajaj, Past District Governor Dr. Niklesh Trivedi, Past District Governor Rtn. Sunil Phatak, Assistant Governor Rtn. Shikha Poranik, City Coordinator Rtn. Amit Jain, along with Assistant Governors, Presidents, Secretaries of various Rotary Clubs, and senior Rotarians from Jabalpur.
Focus on Service and Community Development
In their addresses, the dignitaries encouraged Rotarians to uphold Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self,” and to strengthen service initiatives for the underprivileged and those in need. They expressed confidence that the new leadership would take the club to greater heights through impactful projects in education, healthcare, environmental conservation, water conservation, blood donation, and community development.
Rotary Year Dedicated to Children with Thalassemia
In his acceptance address, President Rtn. Manish Bajaj thanked all club members for their trust and support. He stated that, with the collective efforts of Team Ojasvi, the club would continue to implement meaningful service projects with dedication, leadership, and fellowship.
He also announced that the Rotary Year 2026–27 would be dedicated to children suffering from Thalassemia, with special emphasis on healthcare, awareness, and support initiatives for their welfare.
