Jabalpur: Rotary International District 3261 District Governor Rtn. Alam Singh Roopra, accompanied by First Lady Rtn. Harpal Roopra, will undertake his official visit to Jabalpur from August 21 to 24 as part of the district’s annual programme to strengthen Rotary clubs, review their service initiatives, and inspire greater community impact.
District Governor to Interact with Rotary Leaders
Sharing the programme details with the media, District Secretary Rtn. Nitin Jain said that during the four-day visit, the District Governor will interact with Team Ojasvi, Club Presidents, Secretaries, Directors, and office bearers of Rotary clubs in Jabalpur. He will also meet District Chairpersons, Co-Chairpersons, and members of various district committees to review ongoing projects and discuss the roadmap for the Rotary year 2026–27.
Six Official Club Visits and Four Major Ceremonial Events
The visit will comprise six Official Club Visits (OCVs) and four major ceremonial events. Official Club Visits will be hosted by the Rotary Club of Jabalpur Greater, Rotary Club of Jabalpur South, Rotary Club of Jabalpur Excellence, Rotary Club of Jabalpur Sanskardhani, Rotary Club of Jabalpur Premier, and Rotary Club of Jabalpur East.
The ceremonial events will include Installation Ceremonies of the Rotary Club of Jabalpur Greater, Rotary Club of Jabalpur Excellence, and Rotary Club of Jabalpur East, along with the Charter Handover Ceremony of the Rotary Club of Jabalpur Jalsa.
Review of Club Administration and Community Service Projects
During the visit, the District Governor will review club administration, membership development, Rotary Foundation initiatives, public image activities, youth programmes, and community service projects while encouraging clubs to undertake impactful humanitarian initiatives and strengthen fellowship.
Assistant Governors to Coordinate Official Tour
The official tour has been meticulously coordinated under the guidance of Assistant Governors Rtn. Ravi Vishay, Rtn. Anil Dubey, Rtn. Shobhit Varma, Rtn. Rakesh Nema, and Rtn. Shikha Pauranik, with City Coordinator Rtn. Amit Jain overseeing the overall coordination to ensure the smooth execution of all scheduled programmes.
