
Jabalpur. Tourism Quiz 2025 was organized with the aim of tourism development in the heartland of the country and to increase the general knowledge of the religious, archaeological and historical sites of the state to the students. Christ Church Boys School secured the first position in the district by scoring 340 marks.
Sandipani Vidyalaya, Karundigram stood second while
PM Shri Higher Secondary School, Belkhadu team stood third. MLB Higher Secondary School secured the fourth position, PM Shri Rani Durgavati School Garha secured the fifth position and Brahmarishi Bawra, Narmada Vidyapeeth secured the sixth position.
The Tourism Quiz was held at PM Shri MLB Higher Secondary School with the support of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB), Archaeological Tourism and Culture Council (JATCC) and School Education Department.
Out of 654 students from 218 schools who appeared in the written exam, six schools secured their place on merit basis for the audio visual round (multimedia).
The written round was conducted in the first phase in the morning and the audio visual round (multimedia) in the second shift in the afternoon. The multimedia round was conducted in ten phases in which many interesting facts came to light including the story of the rich glory of the state. In the quiz, questions related to Madhya Pradesh’s rich history, traditions, historical heritage, cultural diversity, art, natural prosperity, great men etc. were asked.
In the program, Assistant Nodal Officer of Jabalpur Archaeological Tourism and Culture Council (JATCC) Rajiv Mishra, Regional Manager of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Sanjay Malhotra and Marketing Manager Yogendra Richaria distributed certificates and medals to the winning team.
Quiz master KK Choubey and teacher Deepti Thakur conducted the multi media round.
On this occasion,
Raju Niswade of JATCC,Tourism Manager of MPTB Tarun Mishra etc. were present. The tourism department will arrange a tour of the state’s tourist spots for all the six teams that reached the multimedia round.
Many simple and some difficult questions too
In the tourism quiz held in two stages, written and oral, very simple questions were asked, while many questions confused the children.

Swachchhata ki Pledge
Children took the cleanliness oath in the program. Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh Annu and Municipal Commissioner Preeti Yadav and many MIC members of the Municipal Corporation were present on Jabalpur’s achievement of fifth rank in the country.
