Rotary District 3261 Launches Best Media Coverage Awards First Time

Jabalpur: Under the inspiring leadership of District Governor Rtn. Amit Pallavi Jayaswal for Rotary Year 2025-26, Rotary International District 3261 has introduced the prestigious “Best Media Coverage Awards” for the first time in RID 3261 history.

First-of-Its-Kind Initiative in District

This special initiative has been launched to recognize and honour Club Public Image Directors and Rotary clubs for their outstanding contribution towards media coverage and strengthening Rotary’s public image.

Significant Impact Across the District

The initiative has already shown remarkable results during the Rotary year 2025-26, with massive media coverage across the district enhancing Rotary’s visibility and public image in society.

Appreciation from Rotary Leadership

The announcement of this award category during the District Assembly received tremendous appreciation from Rotary leaders and club members. PDG Harjit Hura also appreciated the consistent efforts of Club Presidents and Public Image Directors in promoting Rotary activities through media platforms.

Grand Ceremony on June 7

The grand award ceremony titled “Aabhar Mitro Ka” will be held on Sunday, 7 June 2026, from 10:00 AM onwards in Raipur, where Public Image Directors will be honoured.

Media Team Working for Grand Success

According to District Media Chairman Rtn. Nitin Jain and Co-Chairman Rtn. Pankaj Maheshwari, the district media team including Rtn. Shinta Chand, Rtn. Manoj Rai, Rtn. Sunil Dubey, Rtn. Sunil Khyal, and Rtn. Narinder Singh is actively working to make the event a grand success.

This initiative is being considered a historic step towards strengthening Rotary Public Image and encouraging clubs to showcase their service projects more effectively through media and digital platforms.
