
Raipur: Rotary International District 3261 is set to host a grand and prestigious awards ceremony, “Aabhar Mitron Ka”, on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Hotel Babylon Capital, Raipur, marking the culmination of the Rotary year 2025–26. More than 500 Rotarians from Rotary clubs across Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha are expected to participate in this significant event.
Distinguished Guests to Grace the Ceremony
The ceremony will be graced by Chief Guest Rotary International Director Rtn. Basudev Golyan (2027–29). The event will also be honored by the presence of Guest of Honour PDG Vivek Krishna Tankha, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), whose participation will further add prestige and distinction to the occasion.
Recognition of Outstanding Service and Leadership
Organized under the leadership of District Governor Rtn. Amit Pallavi Jaiswal, the ceremony aims to recognize and honor Rotary clubs and Rotarians who have made outstanding contributions to society through impactful service projects, innovation, and community engagement across Rotary’s seven areas of focus throughout the year.
More than 100 Rotary Clubs within District 3261 have actively undertaken service initiatives in the fields of education, healthcare, maternal and child welfare, water conservation, environmental protection, disease prevention, and community and economic development. Based on a comprehensive evaluation of these efforts, awards and recognitions will be presented across various categories.
Hosted by Rotary Club of Dhamtari
The event is being hosted under the aegis of Rotary Club of Dhamtari. Along with the awards presentation, the program will also showcase the district’s achievements, service projects, and membership growth initiatives undertaken during the Rotary year. The ceremony is dedicated to Rotary’s timeless motto, “Service Above Self.”
Extensive Preparations Underway
District Media Chairman Rtn. Nitin Jain informed that Rotarians from various cities and states will begin arriving in Raipur from the evening of June 6. Extensive preparations have been underway for over a month to ensure the event becomes a memorable celebration of Rotary service and fellowship.
The awards process and event management are being led by Awards Committee Chairman Rtn. Dilip Golecha, supported by District Secretary Rtn. Somnath Agrawal, Rtn. Ajit Khandelwal, Rtn. Sushil Ramdas Agrawal, and a dedicated team of volunteers and district leaders.
Celebration of Service and Fellowship
The ceremony will witness the presence of senior district officials, Past District Governors, club presidents, secretaries, and a large gathering of Rotary members. Beyond recognizing excellence in service, the event will further strengthen the values of fellowship, collaboration, and humanitarian service among Rotarians.
“Aabhar Mitron Ka” is more than an awards ceremony; it is a heartfelt expression of gratitude to the hundreds of service-minded individuals who have worked tirelessly throughout the year to create meaningful and lasting positive change in society.
