“Aabhar Mitron Ka” Echoes the Glory of Service, 367 Rotarians Honoured in Grand Raipur Ceremony

Raipur: The grand felicitation ceremony “Aabhar Mitron Ka”, organized under the leadership of District Governor Rtn. Amit-Pallavi Jayaswal of Rotary International District 3261 and hosted by Rotary Club of Dhamtari, concluded with great enthusiasm and dignity in Raipur on Sunday. Rotarians from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and other regions participated in large numbers to celebrate service, leadership, and excellence.

Dignitaries Grace the Prestigious Ceremony

The Chief Guest of the event was Rotary International Director Basudev Golyan (Nepal), while Member of Parliament Vivek Krishna Tankha attended as the Guest of Honour. The dignitaries appreciated Rotary’s contributions in education, healthcare, water conservation, environmental protection, and community development.

Recognition of Outstanding Service and Leadership

In his address, Basudev Golyan highlighted the remarkable contributions of Indian Rotarians and praised the achievements of District 3261, noting its position among the top-performing districts in India. Vivek Krishna Tankha congratulated all club leaders and members for their impactful work in society.

Ceremonial Opening with Cultural Performances

The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a devotional Ganesh Vandana by members of Rotary Club of Bhilai Pinnacle. A vibrant cultural dance performance by Rtn. Ankita Tiwari and Shilpi Choudhary added color and energy to the event.

367 Rotarians Honoured with Awards

District Media Chairman Rtn. Nitin Jain informed that the Awards Committee, led by Chairman Rtn. Dilip Golechha, carefully evaluated the year’s achievements and presented a total of 367 awards. Clubs, presidents, secretaries, and district officers were recognized for excellence in Rotary’s seven areas of focus.

The event’s success was made possible through the efforts of District Secretary Rtn. Somnath Agrawal, Rtn. Ajit Khandelwal, Rtn. Sushil Ramdas Agrawal, Rotary Club of Dhamtari President Rtn. Manish Mittal, Secretary Arpit Jain, and all dedicated members. The vote of thanks was delivered by Rtn. Dilip Golechha.
