
Shahdol: The Rotary Club Shahdol held its grand Installation Ceremony in the esteemed presence of Rotarian Alam Singh Roopra, District Governor of Rotary International District 3261, and First Lady Rotarian Harpal Roopra, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guests.
During the ceremony, Rotarian Krishna Kumar Gupta, President (2025–26), and Rotarian Vinod Pradhan, Secretary (2025–26), highlighted the club’s key achievements during their tenure. Subsequently, Rotarian Amit Kumar Gupta was formally installed as President and Rotarian Dr. Nikita Saini as Secretary for the Rotary year 2026–27. Rotarian Gopal Sharma, Treasurer, along with the newly elected Board of Directors, also took the oath of office and confidentiality.
Commitment to Community Service
In his inaugural address, the newly installed President, Rotarian Amit Kumar Gupta, reaffirmed the club’s commitment to undertaking impactful community service projects in the areas of education, healthcare, environmental conservation, women and child welfare, and overall social development throughout the year.
Distinguished Guests Attend Ceremony
The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Municipal Council President Ghanshyam Das Jaiswal, Past District Governor Sunil Phatak, District Secretary General Rotarian Ajay Agrawal, District Secretary (Madhya Pradesh) Rotarian Nitin Jain, Assistant Governor Rotarian Naresh Singhal, along with Rotary leaders, dignitaries, and club members. New members of the club also took the Rotary membership oath during the event.

The ceremony concluded with a renewed commitment to Rotary’s guiding principle of “Service Above Self,” reaffirming the club’s dedication to expanding its service initiatives and making a lasting positive impact on society.
